Having not been raised by her parents, Renee knows all too well the struggle to feel worthy of love.  Although she was fortunate to have been raised by her paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, the desire to have a nurturing relationship with her parents lingered well into her adult life. It was that desire, along with her feelings of being unloved that fueled her passion for hurting women. Her ultimate desire is to help women release the pain of the past and move toward the abundance of the future.  She believes there is purpose in our pain and that if we allow it to do what God intended for it to do in our lives, we will live in the fruit of His favor.

Renee's heart for women led to a lengthy career as a self-employed Cosmetologist where she enjoyed over 18 years of helping women look and feel their confident best. Renee believes that internal beauty is just as important as external beauty and that women should take the time to understand themselves completely. "Understanding who you are as a woman will help to create the beauty within. Pain is often apart of our story and we usually try to hide those 'ugly' parts from those we deem unworthy to see our scars.  It is those scars, however, that make up the beauty that is deep within us." 

 

In 2018 Renee had the pleasure of connecting with 15 dynamic women to share their stories of triumph in the book When Married Women Speak, A Compilation of Victorious Voices.  She is thankful for the opportunity to share how God has used her past hurts to heal hidden parts of her heart and strengthen her marriage.  The opportunity to allow readers a glimpse into her life as a wounded and healed married woman enables her to further her journey of helping women realize their purpose while also supporting her desire to build strong, prosperous marriages for the kingdom of God.
